DANIEL BULEU
Daniel Buleu is a valued and trusted professional, manager and leader with 20+ years experience in several Information Technology areas including software R&D, Internet services, data communications, business services and IT&C solutions.
His involvement in organizations as The Soros Foundation, Dynamic Network Technologies, 1&1 Internet, Embarcadero Technologies, ANIS (The National Association of the Software Industry) and Euronest IT Cluster contributed significantly to the development of the IT sector in Romania.
He is a remarkable relationship builder, bridging between academia, professional and business organizations and the IT industry. Daniel firmly believes that communities can only progress through the growth of their members. He supported and contributed to the development and improvement of all types of education – traditional or informal, state-owned and private, small and large scale. His strong involvement with both formal educational providers and with the alternative ones (as various business and IT conferences and workshops, “Scoala Informala de IT”) made him a trusted and valued advisor and partner.
Daniel is connected to several national and international organizations (e.g. ANIS, ABSL, Romanian Business Leaders) and his commitment is to support the communities he is part of and contribute to their growth. He is often invited as speaker and panel member to various educational, business and IT events and also has a strong presence in the media.

Founder of the national network of local newspapers “Monitorul” in 1991. He is a former Chief Executive Officer or SRTV (Societatea Romana de Televiziune – The Romanian Society of Television), president of the Editorial Board of “Ziarul de Iasi (Iasi Newspaper)”, author of several assessments on political and economic problems for “BBC” Radio, TVR (Romanian National Television), N24, Realitatea TV (Reality TV).
Moreover, he teaches “Mass-media marketing” and “Media institution management” and courses at a Master’s degree level for the Faculty of Journalism at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi. Also, he is a media expert for the Media Relations project of the European Commission’s Delegation in Romania and for projects undertaken by the World Bank in Romania. In addition, he is the president of “eRomania Gateway” association, member on the board of directors of the organization “Transparency international” – Romanian Chapter.
Mr. Lazescu is a former member of the board of directors of FDSC (2000-2004), foundation that manages European Union projects regarding Democracy/Civil Society (PHARE). He is also a founding member and a member on the board of directors of some important professional organizations such as BRAT (auditing the printing of Romanian publications) and ARCA. In addition, he is a member in international organizations pertaining to the field: International Newspapers Marketing Association, WAN-FIEJ-World Association of Newspapers, IPI – International Press Institute, IAA – International Advertising Association.
Marius is CEO of the media company Arhipelago and an established name in entrepreneurship in the north-east region of the country. He stood out through his active involvement in the development of the national business environment, especially by means of promoting online tools that aid entrepreneurs, among which is the online portal Finantare.ro
He has successfully managed to bring together business communities from several cities, creating national networks of entrepreneurs and companies. He has founded and supported many NGOs and think-tanks that have a great impact on the local and national development. In 2010 he was the president of JCI Romania, and since 2011 he is the president of APEC.
Marius has undertaken activities in numerous fields, among which we mention entrepreneurship, management, training, University professor, speaker, political leader, NGO leader, and, last but not least, an organizer of business conferences.
